
Jon Gregg CEng MCIBSE
Founder/Director
Jon has an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Sheffield and is a Chartered Member of CIBSE. He has worked as a sustainability engineer for over a decade now, contributing to a wide range of built environment developments. Jon has extensive experience in designing low carbon buildings, assessing and recommending energy systems such as district heat networks, and defining company-wide net zero carbon strategies. He has also been involved in local authority policy, notably the GLA London Plan.
Jon specialises in developing and defining Zero Carbon strategies for the built environment, including new and existing buildings, developer asset portfolios, and London Boroughs through their climate emergency response.

In 2022, Jon founded Neual Consulting, where he serves as the Director. Through Neual Consulting, he provides sub-consultancy to some of the UK’s largest engineering practices and offers trusted advisor consultancy to leading developers and asset holders regarding a wide range of Sustainability topics and net zero carbon strategies.

While at Buro Happold Engineering, Jon worked on many of London’s largest masterplan redevelopments, including Wembley Park and Battersea Power Station. Defining Net Zero Carbon strategies for some of the UK’s largest developers; Landsec, Berkeley Homes. Supporting on local government policy and strategy development GLA London Plan, Hackney and Waltham Forest, OPDC.

Carbon Footprint Reduction through Individual Behavioural Change in the Faculty of Engineering
Responsible for generating a scalable, measurable and sustainable carbon reduction within the Engineering faculty through altering behavioural change in staff, students and researchers. Building on recommendations to develop implementation plans, taking forward the carbon reduction objectives. Implementing the most effective carbon reduction methods, considering resource and building user behaviours.
